Giving Back to the Seniors Who Have Given So Much, in 2025!

Through its Joseph Jersey and Pad Princess projects, Kindness Like Confetti is not only tackling real concerns but also making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Kindness Like Confetti (KLC) have launched a campaign to help bring the end of period poverty to 500 young ladies in the Gauteng area. Johannesburg, South Africa (06 May 2024) – Period poverty is rife in South Africa, where families have to choose between putting a meal on the table versus purchasing menstrual hygiene products.

The Grade 4 to 7 learners of Yeoville Community School were surprised with a delivery of stationery packs donated by Kindness like Confetti (KLC), Mini Miracles and Ashraful Aid, community members and corporate donors.

South Africa (20 May 2020) – We have had hundreds of emails and messages ranging from people looking for help to people wanting to offer help. We have been directing them to the charities we know of but a conclusive list is what was needed.

You can now feed multiple families for less than R100.00 by making up easy meal packs and writing a note explaining how to prepare the meal.

Kindness Like Confetti (KLC) has been living up to its name, spreading joy throughout Johannesburg with a series of heartwarming initiatives that demonstrate the power of community and the positive impact that small gestures can have on the lives of others!

The Kindness Like Confetti (KLC) team has been working overtime to provide joy and warmth to 1,000 new mothers and their little ones in Johannesburg by distributing essential baby bags at several public hospitals.

Johannesburg, South Africa (22 February 2024) – Community hours have become a part of schooling, where school-goers are encouraged to give back. The Kindness Like Confetti Johannesburg team have created a helpful menu which will help students perform tasks in exchange for hours.

‘Kindness like Confetti’ run various projects, and this month they are collecting items to make up brave bags for cancer patients at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

A group of dedicated women from the Rotary Clubs of Northcliff and Vanderbijlpark, as well as Mini Miracles, have once again demonstrated the power of community and compassion. Known for their record-breaking knitting achievements, these women have donated a significant number of hand-knitted scarves to Kindness Like Confetti’s Joseph Jersey Project.

The Pad Princess project dropped off much needed sanitary pads and pantyliners for unprivileged girls at the school on 13 March.

Millions of South Africans go to bed either hungry or malnourished; these organisations are making sure families have at least one good meal to get by. South Africa (28 January 2024) – Feeding schemes and organisations come and go in South Africa as funding is found or dried out. Sadly, over the years, our charity list related to a single meal or huge food parcels has dwindled, and this year, it is the smallest yet – BUT there are still organisations filling the hunger gap, making sure people have food to eat.

The Kindness Like Confetti team will be supporting two soup kitchens through the winter and is rallying support to collect much-needed food items.

Janine Ward shared the happy news that after receiving donations for children in December, the women involved knitted beanies to pay it forward.
