Charity collects sandwich stuff to feed state hospital patients on World Cancer Day

Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital treats some of the poorest citizens so Kindness Like Confetti is collecting sandwich stuff to feed cancer patients.

Johannesburg, South Africa (30 January 2020) – The 4th of February is World Cancer Day. Many cancer patients in state hospitals don’t have the ability to sit through treatment comfortably which is why The Brave Bag Foundation visits to offer small comforts.

The Brave Bag Foundation make up pamper packs which they hand out to cancer patients at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. What they noticed was that many patients didn’t have a meal and drink while they sat waiting for treatment.

The Brave Bag Foundation then started making sandwiches and mix juice for the people to help sustain them through the day.
