The Kindness Like Confetti team have released a “menu” detailing how school-goers can earn community hours this year BY TYLER LEIGH VIVIER.
Johannesburg, South Africa (22 February 2024) – Community hours have become a part of schooling, where school-goers are encouraged to give back. The Kindness Like Confetti Johannesburg team have created a helpful menu which will help students perform tasks in exchange for hours. Of course, every task is catered to helping people in need so it’s a win for all!
‘Kindness like Confetti’ (KLC) is based in Linden Gauteng, and spreads kindness far and wide! KLC is a registered non-profit organisation with six main projects – collecting and distributing sanitary products, a feeding scheme, a knitting project called The Joseph Jersey Project, a dignity bag project to support victims of rape, trauma and abuse, Project Uplift, collecting new and gently used bras for women and an animal welfare support project. There are four additional KLC branches including Cape Town, Gqeberha, Knysna and Pretoria.
